Wonder if it's the same where you are? I sold my Z1 and gleefully unwrapped the new NX5 only to be met with a stripped down mains charger. The version supplied with the Z1 would charge NP-F and M series batteries, it could be fed from you car's power socket and it had an LCD that displayed the current charge of an attached battery in minutes and it would tell you how long it would take to charge and then 'fully' charge (generally an extra hour).
The new charger strips that lot out. Only takes NP-Fs, no LCD and no car socket. Huh!

Hi Tom!
Same thing here in the US (I've got the 120V version of your charger :-))
I briefly had a Z5, and it came with a very nice dual charger (would accept two batteries at once) that had an LCD and all. The NX5's charger is clearly a victim of cost reduction. Quite honestly, I was blown away by the Z5's charger. The NX5's charger was more in line with my expectation.
Oh well!
Best,
Aaron

Yep, same with me Tom when I received mine, thinking I was going to get the double LCD charger - dream on.

Yes. Same here in Malaysia. It's the 'stripped down' charger. Lucky we have an FX-1 still and the charger that came with that is brilliant!

Interesting, as the FX1 (PAL) didn't come with a charger as such - the battery has to be charged while on camera.

Really? Hmmm....could be that the company bought it as an extra ...
