Mine has a crack in it and sony charges an arm and a leg for this. Was hoping someone has a viewfinder with a damaged tube or the top half that is salvageable.

Sony charges $300 for it. I wouldn't mind spending around $100. Mine has a little crack in int which prevents me from locking down my viewfinder

$300 is not a lot considering that a whole viewfinder has a more ridiculous price
I do have a spare one in case mine dies which happens on a regular basis, very unreliable viewfinder loosing horizontal linearity

however, I can't see why I should not be able to sell the top half, but I would want $150 plus postage
