I am extremely frustrated with my MR-HD100. I am unable to copy files from it to either my MacBook Pro hard drive or an external LaCie.
I've tried FAT, UDF... nothing works. I can play the files in the MR, they are indeed QuickTime files.
My MBP sees the drive, but when I try to copy the files (which are in the FCP_Example folder) the drive is ejected and I have to force quit the frozen copy status bar in Finder.
I am able to import the files directly into FinalCut, but of course they go offline when I unplug the MR.
I sent the drive back to Focus Enhancements and they said there was nothing wrong with it, but I couldn't copy the files on two other Macs at the Apple Store.
About half the time I get an "insufficient permissions" prompt, but bottom line is right now the drive is useless.
What am I doing wrong?
