I have a A1U and want to submit footage to a stock site, but in looking at the stats, it seems that progressive footage sells much better.

I have Adobe Premier Elements and have tought of buying Vegas Movie Studio Pro and I am looking for a way (if even possible) to deinterlace (?) or convert the M2T files to a progressive format.

Thoughts please?

I can't advise on other methods, not having tried them myself, but the method described in post #15 in this thread: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/what-happens-vegas/483884-progressive-interlace-settings-vegas-newbie.html works extremely well in Vegas Pro.

I use NeoScene to convert my 60i to 24p with good results but it is not equivalent to native 24p quality. Native 24p will always be much better quality than anything native interlaced but converted to progressive. Bear in mind though that for some applications 60i is better than 30p or 24p. These would be fast moving sporting events.
