I need an application that will convert my AVCHD clips to a DVD. I shudder to think about what "easy and one-click" results I would get if I just google this. Some of them take sooooo long to process and create a DVD. So, hopefully, someone here can make a few recommendations. For PC.
I've looked at these so far:
ConvertXtoDVD
4Media DVD Creator (trying this one currently)
I use the Canon Vixia HG21.

There are two programs, - one that is (Should), be straightforward - Cyberlink Power Director 8 Ultra ( HD Video Editing and Movie Making Software ? PowerDirector 8 (http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector/overview_en_US.html) )
and another - Vegas Movie HD 10
( Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 Production Suite Overview (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/moviestudiopp) ) Which is more complex but offers extraordinary value & features in the production suite version.
Hope this helps.

I can vouch for "Cyberlink Power Director 8 Ultra" very straight forward, and runs fine on my 5 year old dual core computer......
Used for editing from all my cameras, including "HFS200".............
