A Japanese research team said Thursday it had developed the world's first 3D television system that allows users to touch, pinch or poke images floating in front of them.

Sadly, I can already think of the industry that is most likely to pioneer this area of new technology.

You might be old enough to recall the joke about the Scottie who was taken to task for having pornographic material in his possession and protesting that he could not be doing wrong because he did not have a "pornograph" to play it on.

Is your comment intended to suggest that the hapless Scottie has just run out of excuses, now that this new product from the little wizards in Japan has been invented?
