How do I remove cineform completely? Under windows7 I chose "uninstall program" for neoscene and had a confirmation dialog. But the uninstaller left behind cineform's active metadata status viewer, so I had to remove that manually. Now the uninstall control panel shows two copies of "cineform hd vfw codec" and when I attempt to uninstall these I get an "installation failed" error. How do I remove these vfw codecs from my list of installed programs?

Those VFW codecs in the unistall are ghosts, the codecs have been uninstalled. This installer anomally has fixed the upcoming build. VFW codecs are uninstalled with the the main uninstall link (alway have been), and they do not need separate uninstalls listed for 32-bit and 64-bit codecs. To clean up the uninstall list delete these registry entries:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CFHDCodec
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\CFHDCodec
