Just a quick question:

- does the output from HD-SDII or HDMI out depend on current nanoFlash settings, or is it always exactly the same as that from the camera (i.e. on the nanoFlash input)?

Dear Piotr,

It depends on one Menu Setting: Video|E to E Direct.

If this is checked, then the input is feed to the output, without any processing, and with an extemely low latency.

If this is unchecked, then the HDMI or HD-SDI signal can be enhanced by adding analog audio and timecode, if appropriate, depending on menu settings. This takes some extra processing time to insert these signals into the output stream.

Other processing has to do with converting PSF to Progressive.

One would normally want to record PSF as true progressive, thus the Record PSF>Prog menu option.

But, one may want to preserve PSF so a monitor can display the signal, thus the reason for the E to E Direct option.

Also, there is a menu option for HDMI for Full Color or Legal Color.
