I have cropped a clip down and put it PIP lower right corner, I blurred the border and this is where the problem comes in.

for some reason only the right and bottom borders are blurred and the left and top are sharp edged.

I rreally need all four edges, any ideas??

at the bottom of the P/C box to the left of the timeline where the keyframes are is a little triangle. Click on that and that should take care of it. By clicking on it the triangle turns from right to left or left to right depending on how it is set which shoul be pointing right. When you click on it it will turn to the left.
Effects like borders are affected by pan/crop but the little triangle resets the effect to cover the image it was placed on. Magic little triangle.
