I downloaded the Cineform NeoHD trial today to check out the 3D functionality and thought I'd start a thread for questions I encounter. Here's my first one:
I captured from both cameras of a beamsplitter rig and opened both clips in First Light. I set my sync points and also checked the "Frame Flip Horizontal" box to account for the reflected nature of the "under" camera image. I then opened the 3D mux dialogue, pointed to the files and muxed. Unfortunately, the horizontal flip was not maintained and the files are flipped.
My present workaround is to open the "under" cam in premiere and re-export thus baking-in the horizontal frame clip. After that I can resync and 3D mux successfully. Am I missing something?
