Nice stuff Mick, I love the White Admiral, no chance of one round here though we do have Graylings and Dark Green Fritillaries.

I thought White Admirals were always high up in the tree tops, apparently not.

Shot on a XLH1 in HDV?

Hi Ron,

Shot in HDV with the XLH1 with stock 20x lens captured to the the Sony HVR-MRC1K recorder. Stiched together with Edius and converted to a MP4 file for uploading to Vimeo.

The hedgerow where this recorded boarders a woodland, but this one certainly enjoyed the blackberry bramble

Mick.

Hi Mick,
Nice video.

Snap! Did a similar thing myself last week, but shot on a Canon 550d as opposed to the H1:

I have become so fascinated with butterflies over the last few weeks!! They are just amazing!

Cheers,

Hi Rob,

Thanks for watching

You have some lovely footage there.

Mick and Rob,

both are excellent videos.

we've had so many butterflies, and moths in our garden this year, now I need to get out there and do some work, and hopefully join your ranks.

Mick,

some of the butterflies you have on your side of the pond look very familiar, and I'm not sure if it is because I saw them there when I visit the family in Durham, or because I see many similar ones here.

Okay, now I have to find my butterfly and moth book.
I guess going through the book may help me, with knowing more about my subject, and where to look and what to look for.

Thanks again for renewing my interest in getting out there, as lately I have been procrastinating.

Sam
