If you guys want to find someone selling a Glidecam just enter this in your URL:

site:craigslist.org glidecam - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?ie=utf8&oe=utf8&q=site:craigslist.org+glidecam)

It will search the entire USA craig's list sites for "glidecam".

This one would narrow it down to the "4000":
site:craigslist.org glidecam 4000 - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?ie=utf8&oe=utf8&q=site:craigslist.org+glidecam%204000)

This one would give you the "2000"

I sold my last Canon 2 days ago and that leaves a few accessories and lenses.

(My journey to the "dark side" is now complete).

Canon EOS 12mm EF and 25mm EF extension tubes perfect condition. All auto functions between EOS body and lens work.
Price: $155 for both, they cost a lot more at B&H.

And these are the prime lenses I used for video:

EF 24mm f2.8 "wide" normal on APS-C sensors, very wide on 5D MkII/MkII. Non IS (discontinued on B&H in favor of $819 IS version. Cosmetically perfect, almost new condition.
My price: $325 Adorama has it for $429.

EF 28mm f1.8 "normal" perspective on APS-C, "workhorse" wide angle on 5D MkII/MkII, cosmetically perfect almost new condition, with original box. Outstanding for low light video.
My price: $395 B&H normal price $509 - on special for $449 till Sept 29th.

EF 50mm f1.8 Not the "plasticky" current mk II version, mine is the original Mk I with metal barrel and focusing ring in the middle of the barrel. It has always been stored in a padded compartment in a bag and has no marks or blemishes of any kind. Functions perfect.
My price: $175 This one is often hard to find.

All prices include FedEX or UPS Ground to CONUS lower 48 and I absorb PayPal fees.

I'm not very familiar with extension tubes for canon...

These appear to be the version "II" tubes that are EF-S compatible, can you confirm?

They are stackable?

What sort of magnifications do you get with them? Were you using them with full-frame or crop sensor? Was there a particular lens you liked or didn't like with them?

Thanks!

Hi, Seth.

Yes these are the version II compatible with EF-S lenses. Here's info from the "overview" on B&H:

======================================================================
This updated version II is now also fully compatible with Canon Digital EF-S lenses, as well as standard photo EF and TS-E lenses.

Extension Tube EF 25 II is recommended for lenses with a focal length of 50mm and up (EF-S 18-55mm can be used at middle and tele zoom settings).

Shortens focusing distance of lens

Compatible with EF-S lenses, as well as EF and TS-E lenses

White-index mark provided for digital SLR EF-S lenses
Red mark provided for photo lenses
==========================================================

They are "stackable" although I've never used them this way. I have had one or the other on between the body and 18-55mm "kit" lens with middle and tele zoom settings. Best results will likely be with prime lenses, for most of the things I've done I wound up using the EF 50mm f1.8 at f5.6 to f11.

Wide angle lenses (usually with the 12mm tube will give more magnification but may cause you to focus close to the objective lens.

Focusing is a lot easier if you go manual and frequently press the DOF Prevue button to see the zone of focus, the brightness wide open helps but the DOF Prevue confirms you have what you want. The more light, the better. I had no trouble.

I used them mainly on APS-C "crop" sensor bodies, T2i, 60D. Last use was on a 60D using the 25mm tube and my EF 50mm on a copy stand for photographing and digitizing 35mm color slides a few months ago. I used these images to give a presentation to our local photography club on this as a method to copy color slides.

I've never tried to "measure" magnification. Mainly concerned with getting "close enough".

I hope this helps answer your questions. You might check user reviews on B&H.

72mm threaded Red Eye Wide Angle Lens Adapter

Asking $220 shipped (over $400 new)

Very thin & light weight! Just slightly larger than a UV filter. Worked great. Comes with belt pouch.

Great if you don't want to add a lot of front heavy weight to your camera (handheld, steadicam, etc). Also, so light & small, it is easy to keep in your bag all of the time.

Like just about any Wide angle adapter, I did notice some softness & fish eye distorsion, but it was good enough for the HD footage I shot.

I've decided to part with my FS-100. It is truly like new. It has less than 50 hours on it (I've shot so little I can remember all the shoots).

Included is the Sony SEL18200 (E 18–200mm F3.5–6.3 OSS) lens
Sony's E 16mm f/2.8 pancake lens
67-77mm step-up ring
77mm Genus variable ND filter
77mm Genustech GNDF77 Extendable Hood
16 GB SanDisk Extreme III SDXC card
Sony ECM-XM1 shotgun microphone
Sony NP-F770 Battery
Sony NP-F970 Battery
...and everything that came with the camcorder. including its original box.
Also comes with Doug Jenson's Vortex Media "Mastering the Sony NX-FS100 Camorder" (2 DVDs/3 hours instruction).

Email me if pictures are desired or you can view the unit via Skype video - user name: moonandbackguy

I love the camera. i just don't shoot enough with it to justify keeping it. $4,199 buys it! Or I'll consider a reasonable offer.

I also have a Sony LA-EA2 A-Mount Lens to E Mount Adapter (never used) for $225 and a Minolta A-mount 70-210mm f/4 "Beercan" lens - a nice solidly built, sharp, constant aperture lens with smooth bokeh effect - for $125. Or take both the adapter and lens for $320.

Scott, I don't believe you are permitted to post for sale items outside of the classifieds area, for purposes of safety. I think the administrators insist that you be a member with a certain number of posts before you can post to classifieds, which might be why you posted here.

The problem is we do not know you yet, and I think that is the reason for the rules, you are new here. You would probably sell quickly on Ebay anyway. I hate using ebay myself, so I understand wanting to sell here.

I am not telling you what to do, but am just offering friendly advice. I have on occasion have broken rules, in various ways, so none of us is perfect.

Good luck with your sale.
