I have a Canon XA-10. I'm looking for a wide lens for it and a light tripod to use with it.

My beloved wide angle lens. Made by Tiffen, 37mm rear thread, 72mm front thread, bought in 2005. I had it mounted to my old camcorder, and always had a UV filter on the front (filter is not included.) The glass looks excellent. $40 with free s&h.

I have 2 "like new" XA10s. I want to sell ONE of them. Both cams were used on one shoot ( 2 hours for a recital.)plus a few hours experimenting.
I purchased two for wedding work, but have decided weddings are NOT for me. Im too damn old to handle the stress. ha

Id rather sell to a forum member than place on ebay. Will consider trade for a Canon 5Dmkii

Keith, I've seen them from $1600 to $1700. On amazon they sell some used ones for more than they cost new at B&H, which is crazy, of course. Right now there is one there sold by Amazon for $1691 with free shipping.

So I bought this unit from a member here about a year ago. It has been used sparingly to shoot a couple of events and one wedding. It's the 100gb model in mint condition aside from some dust particles under the screen-- doesn't affect operation at all. Latest firmware as far as I am aware.
