As seen at the golf open at St Andrews last weekend, must have been interesting in the wind?

It's not that we're not interested Gary it's just that we're all aghast!! Especially when the high winds were blowing the players balls around the greens.
However I loved the shots it did manage to stabilise on, the Scottish car wash with the SUV driving through the surf :)
Cheers.

I would have otherwise just walked right past this crane but stopped and recognized it amongst various lots with concrete debris as they shut off traffic on Wacker Drive and Michigan Ave in Chicago for filming Transformers 3 right in front of my hotel.

Ok. I am officially stalking this crane on the set of Transformers 3. Saw it in action and walked right past the grip changing film on the Wabash bridge. Today a flat bed arrived with another crane and then a Helo screamed by the window and proceeded to lift it to the roof. Today it looks like shooting will involve the river. Geez. What a trip to be traveling with just an iPhone.

Epilog:
I was able to get across the street when they filmed a fight scene amongst the building rubble. There were 3 active camera cranes (two on dollies and one on an SUV) and one crane in use for lights. I noticed one guy holding something and pointing it at the actors (red arrows) in tel-tale DSLR fashion (highlighted in yellow). It was all very interesting to be so close. During the fight, a gaffer hand held a light that flashed somewhat randomly every couple seconds and another guy who threw a fist full of some kind of powder whenever the hero landed a punch. Then there was the fan blowing newspaper into the air, guys laying smoke and the drone of Production Assistants telling everyone to keep moving and turn of camera flashes...hence the camera shake on the close up of the Filmotechnic camera
