I've had good success with the knock off 1120mAh batteries on ebay. They have ran the same (if not longer) than the canon original.

I'm looking at a knock off battery grip as well, and one on ebay comes with 4 LP-E8 batteries included. the only difference it seems is that they are 1200mAh. How much of a difference would this make. Feasibly, would this give them a little extra charge time?

Just wondering if anyone has tried them before.

They will work fine . I've got 2 1200's and 2 2000's and they all work fine including charge in the canon charger

Second to confirm! Orderd 2 phottix's and they a even 1400 .charges well with canons charger,i'm quiet happy wiht this deal.
