Hello,
I've copied all the cards from a project to a drive. All of the footage imports fine except one card. There are several clips from this card and only one shows up in the Transfer tool but all of them show up and play in the Clip Browser app. Any ideas on how I can get these files to be recognized in Transfer?
Thanks
John

FCP is up to date but your XDCAM Transfer is an antique.
Current version is 2.12.

I've updated to 2.12 and I'm still having the same results.

Hi!
I think xdcam transfer has problems when ingesting clips.
I only use log and transfer inside fcp.
You can download a plugin for xdcam (for log and transfer) on the net.

This is the 1st time I've encountered a problem with XDCAM Transfer that I couldn't figure out in the 2+ years I've working with XDCAM footage. Regardless, I downloaded the plugin for Log and Transfer and it also only recognizes the one clip that Transfer saw and doesn't see the 7 other clips that should be there.
Any other help would be appreciated it. Otherwise I'm hosed.
Thanks,
John

In case you're interested, the solution was to update XDCAM Browser software, then in Browser create a new folder on your drive and chose "import" from the file menu and navigate to the CLP folder and select the MP4 of the missing clip. Do this for each clip not showing up in log and transfer or XDCAM Transfer. Browser will then create new BRAV folders for each of the clips allowing you to import them.
