I've been using Vegas 9E for a couple of weeks now. Very impressed with both it's stability and lightning speed at rendering etc. (more details of my PC spec in this thread below that I started a while back).

I have 2 questions that I'm sure will be easy to answer for those that know Vegas well.
1. In Vegas 7E I could see video thumbnails all along the length of a clip in the timeline but the default with my 9E set-up appears to be one at the start, one in the middle and one at the end. I've looked around but can't find how I select this.
2. The 1440x1080p WMV renders (and indeed the 720p renders from HDV 1440x1080i work really well - and are super fast!) but the only 2-pass preset I seem to be able to find is 2-pass CBR. Are there any other options (provided or that I can enable as a custom preset) for 2-pass with WMVs at these sorts of quality settings? (I just want to take maximum advantage of this new i7s speed). It'll do in a few minutes what used to take me HOURS!
Thanks in advance.
