Derek Craig October 10th, 2013, 02:04 PM I am selling my Varizoom VZProL LanC controller. Last winter I sent it off to Varizoom to have the cord replaced as I noticed a crack in the insulation and did not want it to short out. They went completely through it and basically it is good as new in terms of operation. It is all aluminum construction. I painted it black to take the shine off of it. The marks you see are simply handling marks in the black paint. I assure you that the unit is in great condition. It works excellent and gives you full zoom and focus control as well as variable zoom rate control, record start/stop, LED indicator, and will power on and off your camera (this feature may or may not be compatible with all Canon/Sony cameras though). Very solid controller. Just too big for my current needs. Brand new this retails for $229 at B&H. I'd like to get $100 shipped to your door (lower 48), via Paypal. Let me know if you are interested. After a week or so I'll take it to ebay where I have been seeing them go for $125 and up. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a35/decraig2000/CameraStuff_-8_zpsbe540270.jpg (http://s8.photobucket.com/user/decraig2000/media/CameraStuff_-8_zpsbe540270.jpg.html) http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a35/decraig2000/CameraStuff_-9_zps87d4438d.jpg (http://s8.photobucket.com/user/decraig2000/media/CameraStuff_-9_zps87d4438d.jpg.html) Matt Reszke October 10th, 2013, 02:38 PM Final Price: $1600... Ron Bailey October 11th, 2013, 10:57 PM Purchased in Feb of this year and thought I would need it to work with my 17mm TS-E. I'm able to get focus confirmation through the 5D II so I really don't need the monitor (shooting stills only with the lens). Also comes with extra screen protector, ball mount, extra ball mount (missing tightening screw) and another extra mount. Two 1.5 ft. Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cables, Smallhd sunhood, AC7/DP6 Canon 5D/7D LP-E6 Battery Bracket and 5D MKII Port Protector. All of this is $1,540 new not counting the extra mounts. Chad Solo October 14th, 2013, 11:57 AM Bought this last year and used it very little. No signs of wear at all. With out IS I just can't use this great lens for my work. I only tested it one evening and can not return it since I sent the UPC code in off the box. So I will take that off the price plus a little more to make a quick sale. Here it is at B&H: Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens 5175B002 B&H Photo Video Price $1,800 you pay insured shipping I pay paypal fee. Leonard Levy October 14th, 2013, 10:25 PM Old one was a very nice budget lens, but the new one is a different animal altogether. Much bigger and simply great glass. It is incredibly sharp all the way through the zoom and when wide open. There is also almost no longitudinal chromatic aberration (purple and magenta edging on high contrasty areas just before and after the focus point.) That Chromatic aberration is on every still camera lens I've seen so far and its quite minimal on the sigma. The older lens definitely had more aberration. I read somewhere that it was just as sharp as a 100mm Canon L Prime. My only issues are that the zoom ring is in the front not the middle and the focus ring turns opposite from Nikon, so I find it a bit confusing. Matt Reszke October 16th, 2013, 01:33 PM Is the recorder still available? Alex Chamberlain October 16th, 2013, 03:01 PM Sorry, Matt, I forgot to post here that it is sold. Nate Haustein October 16th, 2013, 08:02 PM LanParte FF-02 - A-B Hard Stop Follow Focus Bought a year ago and used sparingly. Has quick release rail mount and A/B hard stops. Dry erase marking ring and the gear can switch from front to rear mounting positions. VERY smooth and no backlash. Great piece of kit but I don't use it enough to keep it. $300 shipped US. PayPal fees on me. Good condition with a few marks in the paint where the hard stops are. Please note the photo is a stock image for reference. If interested I can put up photos of my copy. Paul Cronin October 17th, 2013, 06:16 AM I have taken the $300 rebate plus an additional $200 off the lens, and know one is interested? Paul Cronin October 17th, 2013, 08:10 AM I am looking for a clip on Matte Box that works in 4K with the following lens. Dulcos 11-16, Red Pro Prime 300, Red Pro Zoom 17-50 v2. Bill Ward October 17th, 2013, 08:37 AM Good to know. I'm still trying to undo 30 years of muscle memory every time I use a Nikon lens on my F3. Bill Ward October 17th, 2013, 08:40 AM I had a chance to use a Bright Tangerine clip on matte box on a shoot this week. All carbon fibery and very light. It had a quite large opening. Might be worth looking into. Broadcast, DSLR, Video, Studio, Lightweight - Matte Box | Mattebox (http://www.brighttangerine.com/category/matte-box/2) Paul Cronin October 17th, 2013, 08:52 AM HI Bill, Thanks for the input. I just sent them an email to see if it covers full 4K at 11mm. It does look like a first class option, and it it works I think I would buy a 2 stage. Paul Cronin October 17th, 2013, 10:56 AM Thanks for the great input Bill, I am buying a Bright Tangerine Viv. Paul Cronin October 18th, 2013, 09:31 AM Just so this is completely clear this is version 2 that retails for $2299. Then after rebate it is $1999. So I am taking $200 off the price after you receive rebate. Nate Haustein October 18th, 2013, 12:43 PM Bump. $275 shipped. Paul Cronin October 18th, 2013, 06:46 PM Off the market. Casey Danielson October 19th, 2013, 08:03 AM WTB a used Letus Extreme for my camcorder. Got one? Let me know! Best, Casey Robert Turchick October 19th, 2013, 11:27 AM $3500 for XF300? $350 for WA82? Great deal for great gear! Jay Bratcher October 19th, 2013, 11:29 AM Hi - This may be a long shot, but I am looking for the "C cup" adapter for an Angenieux 12 - 120mm Type A lens. This is a 16 mm lens with the viewfinder attached at the base of the lens. Apparently, there are many of these lenses around without the C cup adapter, which has a threaded C mount at the base. I have attached a photo of the adapter... Thank you! Jay Bratcher Chad Solo October 19th, 2013, 12:33 PM Thank's it Sold Rafael Lopes October 19th, 2013, 02:53 PM Please delete Andreas Andreou October 20th, 2013, 05:38 AM Unfortunately have to sell my Optimo DP 16-42mm zoom T2.8 lens. no scratches or marks. PL mount. $15k plus insurance, includes shipping. Bill Ward October 20th, 2013, 10:41 AM Paul: I think you'll like it. Like all clip ons, give the master ring stem an extra half twist to keep it tight on the lens. It also has a lot of modular parts with thumbscrews. The unit I used was a little loose in some places, but once I went around and tightened everything down, it worked flawlessly. And it weighs next to nothing! Paul Cronin October 20th, 2013, 10:45 AM It arrives tomorrow. I purchased the clip on but also the 15mm bar attachment just to have options. Once I watch a few videos on their site I was ready. Looks like a great product and will match all of my glass options when I need a matte box. Thanks for the recommendation. Jay Bratcher October 20th, 2013, 05:15 PM FWIW, I found an individual with several of these in Greece on Ebay. I have a couple of them coming, and will pass on his information if anyone is interested. I expect mine to be here within the next 2 weeks... Leonard Levy October 21st, 2013, 02:33 AM Muscle memory is a serious problem I admit.. All myF3 lenses are Nikon except for the Sigma which is opposite , but I also shoot with an EX-1 as well as other cameras and lenses and have years of memory shooting with all sorts of cameras. At this point I am frankly always completely confused as to which direction to turn the focus ring. I wish I could come up with some mental trick to remind myself which way to turn with any lens but its tough to make it clear to my addled old brain. I've had some thoughts of switching to an FS700 & Canon lenses for speed booster, IS and possible 4K if the Odyssey pans out. I guess an added benefit of no small value would be that all my lenses would turn in the same direction.
