I'm selling my Near Mint Condition Sony HVR-Z5U HD Camcorder.
I've recently upgraded to another camera and no longer use this, hence the reason for selling.

There are extremely low hours of usage (1). I've never used a tape in the camera. All video was captured on the solid state MRC1K recording unit that I am also including.
Everything is included, even the original box and packaging. I am the original owner. It was purchased new from B&H Photo.

How many hours on the 700? Is shipping included in the price?

This is a great rig, peeps--don't be thinking that just because that Chinese Ebay rig you've been eying shows a similar carrying range that it will perform nearly as well as this one, nor retain resale value. It's not just the Steadicam brand name you are paying for, it's design that NONE of the other manufacturers of smaller rigs have (the arm performance, for one).

Ah well I probably wasn't clear Andreas--I was just trying to help by promoting the quality of your rig to those who are in the market to buy. In the last year there has been quite a surge of interest in these low-cost rigs that externally seem to replicate the quality of higher-end rigs at a bargain price. I've always preached that support gear that will last through multiple generations of cameras is always worth spending on (heads, stabilizers etc).

I did look at other support systems initially, but that as far as it went.
If you want quality you have to pay for it.

This entire rig was a SOLID choice for shooting my first indie feature, in Chicago and other parts of Illinois.

As many on this forum know, it's tough to make a go of it right now and the non-profit that hired me to shoot the picture has not purchased this from me as originally agreed, given their own funding struggles.

I am letting this gently-used kit go for exactly HALF of what I paid for it in 2010. Since our shoot in summer 2010, it has been packaged and stored in a climate-controlled space. Apart from some small metal-on-metal/plastic marking from routine use in the field, it is in LIKE NEW condition.

I would like to set a firm selling price at $4,000 for the entire kit, knowing that I paid twice that to use it once.

Once most of the rig has sold (i.e. rig sans matte box/letus adapter/follow focus), I'll "part out" what remains. Please hold off on any "parting" requests until notified on this thread.

I appreciate any and all serious offers and will be accepting continental U.S. cashier's checks or PayPal. Safe, insured packaging and shipping can be arranged to suit your needs and is included in the asking price (up to $200).

yes that helps. checked the pdf instructions online but could not confirm- is this compatible with sd 16x9 aspect ratio and/or hd video?

All SD 16:9 video is anamorphic and has exactly the same bandwidth and frame "size" as 4:3 video so any SD DA will work.

HD would not be distributed due to its higher bandwidth requirements.

I happen to like Kramer gear and own several pieces. Good piece of kit if you need a composite SD video DA.

I am selling my DXA-4P that I used with my Canon GL2 which I am also selling. See the picture. This has been parked for a while and is in good condition. I'll take 75.00 obo plus shipping.

One Panasonic GH2 body only. Purchased used last year for $650 plus shipping) and it has less than 950 shutter actuations on it (just checked - 905 shutter count and 851 power on cycles {includes "wake ups" from "sleep mode"}), so this camera has seen pretty light use.

My price $545 (PayPal preferred) which includes PayPal fees and UPS or FedEX ground shipping to anywhere in the lower CONUS 48.

Body is in very clean cosmetic condition and functions perfectly. LCD has a protective film layer that does not affect touchscreen operation. Includes manual, genuine Lumix battery & charger, USB and AV cables, and a copy of the software disk. I've also included the quick disconnects I put on the strap.

A second disk will have the PTools program used to install firmware patches and the two I've used, Sanity 5 and Flowmotion 2.02. Flowmotion 2.02 is currently installed and I've never had a problem with it.

Reason for selling: Raising funds for a second GH3 body.

Camera has been sold!

While on a shoot yesterday the Videographer who hired me to help went to get a certain shot and put in my care this mic we were using as interview mic.

Since was wearing the full Glidecam rig it was a bit awkward and accidentally fell smacking the pavement destroying the mic and the G2 Sennheiser plug in transmitter.

I take full responsibility to replace it yet it's been a bit challenging to locate.

If anyone has that mic am willing to pay the original amount ($150)
