Elizabeth Agate February 28th, 2013, 09:37 PM Hi everyone--I'm actually new on this site, and I didn't see any separate "for sale" forum. I've got some equipment I no longer need--anyone in the NYC area want to take these off my hands? I'm looking for local pickup only at the moment, but I may be open to shipping if they don't sell locally. All items were bought new from B&H here in Manhattan. Prices in parenthesis are what I paid for them new. Everything works great; I'm just getting out of the sound game. Please PM if interested, thanks! One has to be logged in to see it I think. With me, it seems it's always a lot easier to buy things than sell them but I have sold some things here that I couldn't sell elsewhere. Living here in Washington the rain duck cover could be useful. Just checked the forecast and there's rain forecasted every day for the next 6 days. But hey, we like our moss. Elizabeth Agate March 1st, 2013, 08:33 AM For the record when I try to post in the proper sections I get "Unauthorized" message. Oh well. Thank you, John! Yes, I've been to Washington state. I actually biked down the coast (bicycle, not motor). The moss is so pretty until you're in a tent being dripped on all night, haha! Michael C. Ray March 1st, 2013, 09:15 AM This is a feeler thread as I am considering 2 options for a public access program this year .. I am looking for 2 HDR FX1 cameras in very good to excellent condition in full working condition with no issues and 4 HVR-MRC1k units in full working condition with no issues As I stated this is a feeler to see if any of this gear is available .... Andreas Andreou March 1st, 2013, 02:39 PM Hi all I initially purchased this in August 2012 for studio work that fell through, Steadicam Zepyhr HD, never used, mint condition, includes wheeled hard case, 7in Marshal HD monitor full kit, spot less. Have to sell. UK£7500.00 For further details please email me at: info@videodance.eu Hope someone is interested. Thanks Andreas Mark Bournes March 1st, 2013, 02:49 PM How many hours on the 700? Is shipping included in the price? Charles Papert March 1st, 2013, 08:03 PM This is a great rig, peeps--don't be thinking that just because that Chinese Ebay rig you've been eying shows a similar carrying range that it will perform nearly as well as this one, nor retain resale value. It's not just the Steadicam brand name you are paying for, it's design that NONE of the other manufacturers of smaller rigs have (the arm performance, for one). Chris Hurd March 1st, 2013, 08:45 PM Moved to Classifieds. Robert Lee March 1st, 2013, 10:15 PM Hi James: Had trouble PM you about the photos, is there another way to reach you? Andreas Andreou March 2nd, 2013, 01:36 AM Hi Charles Not eying the the Chinese rig at all, I wouldn't touch it with barge pole. It is a great rig, done the UK course and bought one, but now its just gathering dust so gotta sell. Andreas. www.ministryofvideo.co.uk Charles Papert March 2nd, 2013, 02:31 AM Ah well I probably wasn't clear Andreas--I was just trying to help by promoting the quality of your rig to those who are in the market to buy. In the last year there has been quite a surge of interest in these low-cost rigs that externally seem to replicate the quality of higher-end rigs at a bargain price. I've always preached that support gear that will last through multiple generations of cameras is always worth spending on (heads, stabilizers etc). Andreas Andreou March 2nd, 2013, 08:29 AM Good call Charles, spot on. I did look at other support systems initially, but that as far as it went. If you want quality you have to pay for it. Andreas Chris Hurd March 2nd, 2013, 09:18 AM Moved to Classifieds. James Kuhn March 2nd, 2013, 11:27 AM CHARGER IS SOLD - PENDING FUNDS. Thanks, Howard! Peter W. Gray March 2nd, 2013, 01:40 PM This entire rig was a SOLID choice for shooting my first indie feature, in Chicago and other parts of Illinois. As many on this forum know, it's tough to make a go of it right now and the non-profit that hired me to shoot the picture has not purchased this from me as originally agreed, given their own funding struggles. I am letting this gently-used kit go for exactly HALF of what I paid for it in 2010. Since our shoot in summer 2010, it has been packaged and stored in a climate-controlled space. Apart from some small metal-on-metal/plastic marking from routine use in the field, it is in LIKE NEW condition. I would like to set a firm selling price at $4,000 for the entire kit, knowing that I paid twice that to use it once. Once most of the rig has sold (i.e. rig sans matte box/letus adapter/follow focus), I'll "part out" what remains. Please hold off on any "parting" requests until notified on this thread. I appreciate any and all serious offers and will be accepting continental U.S. cashier's checks or PayPal. Safe, insured packaging and shipping can be arranged to suit your needs and is included in the asking price (up to $200). Please see the photos I've attached, including a complete inventory of the parts included. Zacuto is SOLID - you won't be disappointed. I'm just disappointed I'm forced to sell it. Michael C. Ray March 2nd, 2013, 01:47 PM We are looking for the above .... No longer a feeler Myles Williams March 2nd, 2013, 02:24 PM 375 Hrs on 700 but pending sale for WEDNESDAY. 119 hrs on the 750 and still for sale. Myles phone 443 370 9000 James Kuhn March 2nd, 2013, 03:05 PM *****sold**** Elizabeth Agate March 2nd, 2013, 04:53 PM Thank you, Chris! Shaun Roemich March 2nd, 2013, 06:00 PM yes that helps. checked the pdf instructions online but could not confirm- is this compatible with sd 16x9 aspect ratio and/or hd video? All SD 16:9 video is anamorphic and has exactly the same bandwidth and frame "size" as 4:3 video so any SD DA will work. HD would not be distributed due to its higher bandwidth requirements. I happen to like Kramer gear and own several pieces. Good piece of kit if you need a composite SD video DA. Purchased used last year for $650 plus shipping) and it has less than 950 shutter actuations on it (just checked - 905 shutter count and 851 power on cycles {includes "wake ups" from "sleep mode"}), so this camera has seen pretty light use. My price $545 (PayPal preferred) which includes PayPal fees and UPS or FedEX ground shipping to anywhere in the lower CONUS 48. Body is in very clean cosmetic condition and functions perfectly. LCD has a protective film layer that does not affect touchscreen operation. Includes manual, genuine Lumix battery & charger, USB and AV cables, and a copy of the software disk. I've also included the quick disconnects I put on the strap. A second disk will have the PTools program used to install firmware patches and the two I've used, Sanity 5 and Flowmotion 2.02. Flowmotion 2.02 is currently installed and I've never had a problem with it. Reason for selling: Raising funds for a second GH3 body. Ken Beals March 4th, 2013, 12:40 PM While on a shoot yesterday the Videographer who hired me to help went to get a certain shot and put in my care this mic we were using as interview mic. Since was wearing the full Glidecam rig it was a bit awkward and accidentally fell smacking the pavement destroying the mic and the G2 Sennheiser plug in transmitter. I take full responsibility to replace it yet it's been a bit challenging to locate. If anyone has that mic am willing to pay the original amount ($150) also if anyone has the SKP100 G2 plug in transmitter (Range A or B) please contact me. flowingcamera at gmail or 480-678-1175 Ofcourse this little accident washes all my compensation for 2 solid days of physical Glidecam work but my clear conscience is worth more. thanks Bill Wilson March 4th, 2013, 03:52 PM Hi Ken: I just happen to have one in its original carrying case w a coil cord & a straight cord.
