Hello,

Are there any recommendation for a wireless controlled tripod setup. For example, I often shoot events alone (mainly weddings) and I man one tripod and the other tripod may be on the other side of the room at about 20-30 ft. It would be nice to have a wireless control that would allow me to zoom, pan, and tilt the other cam. A RF frequency type device would be ideal sense line of sight is not needed. This may be asking too much, but it would also be nice if the controller had a built in monitor so that I could see what the camera is shooting. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks,
Troy

I think I may have a solution.

you can easily build your own with a remote head.
Servos are position driven by a potentiometer (resistor).
if you put the potentiomenter (the remote control) on one tripod and the servos on the other tripod (and eventually reverse the rotation), you can build a tripod that is synchronised on the other.
servocity has lot of electronics available for this.
the complication usually comes from having more that one axis and controlling the camera (focus/zoom, monitoring) too.
