I'm having the exact same issues with converting Panasonic's AG-HMC150 AVCHD files...!!

i thought I found a solution, but unfortunately not...

I have reproduced this issue as well with HDV footage captured from a Sony HVR-V1U. I used both HDLink and Adobe CS5 to capture the footage off the tape and in both situations I get the error mentioned.

I was going to post a bug tonight when I got home, I'll still do that if it is necessary.

I got this reply from Cineform's support guy:

disable user account control in windows control panel and then download and install the 64-bit version of ac3filter from AC3Filter (http://www.ac3filter.net). during ac3filter installation, make sure to select both the 32-bit and 64-bit components.
then try converting your files again and it should work.

i'll try it later this night tho if it works

So I tried the fix in the previous post and it worked! All my footage converted fine.
