I've got some HDV files that I captured in Vegas. Their ending frames seem to be corrupted and cause Avid to barf when I try to import the files.
I've run into this before, and found cutting off the last few frames solves the problem. I've done this using TMPGEnc Xpress 4.0, but the problem is that TMPGEnc wants to re-encode the entire file. This can take considerable time (and should cause a quality hit).
Does anyone know of a program/utility that enables you to just "cut" frames off the end of a .m2t file w/o re-encoding it?
Thanks much!
