I received Premiere Production Premium CS5 today and got it installed on my 64-bit Vista system (was using FCS2, but am selling that sytem).

I ran Premiere and tried to capture footage via the capture option. I can control the camera, but it says the "Device is Offline" if I try to capture video.

I tried using HDVSplit, but I run into the same issue. I can control the camera, but no video or audio comes through.

The video was shot in 24F, 1080i.

Any suggestions? Am I missing a codec or something?

I figured it out. I forgot I had the camera set to down convert HDV to DV. Working ok now.

But, another issue came up. At the 45 second mark and at about 2:45 the audio/video freezes for about two seconds and then continues. It doesn't show any droppped frames, so I am not sure what the issue is.

Any thoughts?

(still can't get it to work in HDVSplit, though...)
