Just came across this in an article written in HD Magazine

According to the article, Discovery is playing a role in helping Sony develop their latest 3D camera???

Interesting little tidbit. Since Discovery has their own 3D cable network, I guess they want Sony's involvement. But I wonder if it was Sony checking to make sure any future camera of theirs fits Discovery 3D's engineering guidelines.

It does seam that Sony is going to push 3D very hard.
