Hi
I need to know how to add audio dissolve on a lot of audio clips. This can be done in a lot of other programs but I cannot find it in Premiere. Anyone know how to do this - like selecting tracks and add dissolves to all audio tracks inside the workarrier. I do not need to apply the videotransistion !!

Did you look under Audio Transitions / Crossfade...

Still only the option to apply audio transistion to one clip - not multiple clips....

Have you heard of Copy / Paste Attributes ? Select one clip, copy, lasso the rest and Paste Attributes.

Or, target the audio track, move the CTI to the clip, prese CTRL + SHIFT + D to add the default audio transition, press Page Down to move to the next clip, and repeat.

Dont get it - attributes do not have anything to do with audio dissolve. Please explain exactly how to do it. Maybe I called it audio dissolve/transistion when it should have been audio crossfade....

depends on your workflow. You can arrange all audiofiles in the storyboard/project folder and automatically convert them to a sequence ( of course you must set/acknowledge the standard transition option which is valid for audio too). The respective icon is left from the SEARCH icon.

Yes - thats what I do. Apply crossfade (I have chosen Ctrl+D for audio crossfade to make it more simple) + page down etc. As I thougt - there is no easy way to do it.

Off course there is an easy way to do this...

First make your desired audio transition default. (right click on transition in Effects/ Set Selected As Default Transition)
Marquee or lasso with alt pressed down a selection of audio you want to add the transition to.
Now go to the pulldown menu, select Sequence and hit Apply Default Transition To Selection.
You can do this with the video portion of a clip or video and audio all together.
You can even make it a into a keyboard shortcut.
