Can anyone please tell me what is the bit rate of A/D conversion in PMW350 and PDW 700/800 ? In case of HDCAM camcorders sony is highlighting the 12 or 14bit A/D conversion but in case of XDCAM HD camcorders they are delberately hiding it .Is it only 8 bit? And it seems the recording is also not more than 8 bit.

The recordings are 8 bit, but the DSP in the PDW-700/F800 is 14 bit and I believe the 350 is at least 12 bit, the dynamic range suggests at least 12 bit, if not higher.
