Just noticed something.Camera HDX900 set to 1080i/25p.. Nano also says 1080/25p. recording all fine.
But on playback monitor Pana BT-LH900A a 1080i/50i SDI message pops up.

I have Nano set to record progressive.. and play progressive.. E- E is not selected..

Any reason for this.. Iam 100% sure its recording 25p.. just wonder why the monitor thinks otherwise..

Thanks

Dear Robin,

Please ensure that Video|Play Prog(ressive) > PSF is not checked.

If you have this checked, then we will convert footage recorded as Progressive to Progressive Segmented Frames on playback.

If this is set, then, on playback, your footage will look like 1080i50 to your monitor.

If this is unchecked, then, on playback, your footate will look like 1080p25 (progressive) to your monitor.

PSF is a way to encode true progressive footage so that monitors that can not handle true progressive footage can play the footage.

In other words, PSF makes the footage appear like interlaced footage to the monitor.
