I am asking this question for a friend.
He was editing a film in Final Cut 6 and gave it to some one to edit in final cut 7. He used the same hard drive, and didn't back any thing up separately of that hard drive.
Now, getting the footage back, He is having major sync issues. It seems for the most par that the audio is in the right place, but his video edits have all moved around so his time line is a mess.
I know this doesn't give much detail, but has any one seen similar issues going from Final cut 7 to final cut 6? (he is super busy, so I am just trying to help out remotely).
