Should have my ALAC (or as Sony call it an aberration correction lens) Fujinon ZA17x7.6 lens from Japan for my PMW-350 very soon. Hopefully soon afterwards, the digital extender - maybe.

Old thread, but it is always the top hit on Google when searching for Sony ALAC, so thought I would add to it.

Called Sony about an old 1/2" KH21ex5.7IRSE. They said it is able to be updated for ALAC, and that i just need to send it in to their service center. The firmware update is free of charge, and they also evaluate the lens for any other issues free of charge while they have it. Sounds like anything with the digital drive with the little OLED display can be updated for ALAC functions. The KH21 is the 1/2" version of the KJ21 which I did not see listed above, but it can probably be upgraded similarly. My KH21 suffers from some pretty severe longitudinal chromatic aberration, the red/green hue for slightly out of focus areas of the image. I think those are primarily what the ALAC function aim to improve?
