Hello Folks,
I'm just looking for a good basic tutorial on color correction using
Final Cut 4. If anyone has come across something that's particularly good,
I'd appreciate the help. As always, thanks in advance. Glen

Ken Stone's site is my favorite source for free tutorials on Final Cut. This one is pretty good: http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/cc_legal_fcp4.html
If you want to pay for something you can hold in your hand, I like the DigitalFilmTree books (I think from Peachpit Press), and those have FCP4 color correction tutorials. But you can definitely get started on the Ken Stone site.

For starters, have a look at the manual section for Color Correction. It has a lot of examples and is pretty easy to follow. I'd suggest using the PDF version which can be accessed from the Help menu inside FCP. It has color illustrations while the hardcopy manuals are printed in black and white.
It is found in Volume III > Effects > Color Correction
