Hi,
[Canon XHA1s - Sony HDV tapes - 50i 1080 - and some tuning and custom settings.]
I have this 'testtape' on wich I recorded footage in all possible modes with lots of custom settings.
To get to know my new camera.
So far no problems. I stick to one type of tape.
On the set I start recording on a virgin tape (no striping done).
The red led is on, the red dot shows on the display, the tape runs, the timecode runs, ...
When previewing the footage there is no timecode and no image.
I put in an other virgin tape, same result, the camera seems properly recording
but when previewing there's not a single frame on tape. Just blue signal.
Even afther I have reset the custom settings to factory defaulds the problem persists.
At the other hand I could still record footage on the old testtape.
Meanwhile I have put all my personal settings in place again and I can record footage on (other) tapes.
What happend, just two bad tapes?
Thanks,
Stijn
