Has anyone used the IDX Pro Series 7.4V batteries and charger?

The stuff looks good and I talked with one of the CS reps about them. IDX has Panasonic compatible batteries and a 2 place simultaneous fast charger. They claim to have worked with Panasonic on this and there are a couple of different batts for different camera models. What’s nice is the Empty/Full LED and power level LEDs.

Here’s the page: IDX 7.4V Battery System (http://www.idxtek.com/products/74v.html)

There’s one battery for the HVX200, and one for the HMC 150 & 70.

I priced the Panasonic AG-B25 Charger/AC adapter and it’s $175! The IDX dual charger is $120 @ B&H. The IDX SL-VBD50 batt is 5000mAh, as opposed to the Panasonic’s 5400mAh. I’m willing to lose 400MAH of power for all the indicators and a $77.50 price tag. I like that the charger is a two place simultaneous charger. That way, I can run my little camera on AC power, with the factory adapter and still be able to charge batteries for lights, recorders, P2Gear, etc. on the IDX.

IDX SL-VBD50 5000MAH battery for HVX200. $77.50 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/679476-REG/IDX_SL_VBD50_7_4v_5000MAH_LI_ION_BATTERY.html#46229)

IDX LC-VWP dual fast charger $120

Panasonic CGA-D54 5400MAH batt $174.95

Panasonic AG-B25 Charger $175

Looks pretty nice. According to a reviewer, they liked the IDX 2 place charger better than the Dolgin, because the Dolgin is more expensive and also doesn’t go all the way to 100% charge and I think it isn’t quite a true simultaneous charger.

I think I may pull the trigger on one of the batteries and the chager, but I'd like to hear from anyone that's used the IDX system.

Thanks!
