View Full Version : No audio in last second Ann Bens April 23rd, 2010, 11:19 AM In CS4 the CF codec cuts of the audio of the last second of each clip. Is there a update for this issue? NeoScene latest version. David Newman April 23rd, 2010, 11:47 AM It has been fixed but we haven't released it as all releases are awaiting v5.0, which partly waiting on CS5. Hard to do patch releases at this time. Ann Bens April 23rd, 2010, 12:39 PM I think it is unfair to have to pay for an upgrade to get this fixed. David Dwyer April 23rd, 2010, 01:09 PM Ah yes I have this bug, I thought I was doing something wrong! Graham Hickling April 23rd, 2010, 11:16 PM http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/cineform-software-showcase/475911-last-second-audio-missing-after-neoscene-transcode.html John Quandt April 24th, 2010, 12:03 PM I always tack a short black clip on the end of my timelines following the clip fadeout. Without doing this, my DVD's and Blurays will leave the last frame on the screen as it transitions back to the disc menu. Fading out and adding the black clip has the screen going to black before returning to the menu. Ann Bens April 24th, 2010, 03:04 PM I have to put black video under transitions (usually crossdisolve) otherwise they do not get exported to CF avi correctly. Johnnie Behiri April 27th, 2010, 03:05 AM Hi, Is anybody else experiencing a split of a second audio dropout in between clips when converting EX1/3 files with the latest Prospect 4k? Thanks! Johnnie David Dwyer April 27th, 2010, 03:13 AM Merged Threads now. http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/cineform-software-showcase/477447-no-audio-last-second.html Chris Hurd April 27th, 2010, 07:00 AM Threads merged -- thanks David, Steve Pesenti April 27th, 2010, 06:21 PM Yes, I get the same last second audio cut out after converting to Cineform in HD Link. But the bug happens inconsistently - sometimes there is no cut-out at all. Also where it occurs the problem can sometimes be fixed by re-converting to Cineform from the source file again. |
