Hi All,
So now and then I use my Sony HVR-A1E for camjo-items or in-car shots. A freelancer working for me retured it after he borrowed it for a project. It now has a serious problem with the power. Both in tape-mode and play/edit-mode it loses it's power after a few seconds, it's just switching off. But, it also turns the power on again by itself as well and that happens over and over again.
So in the first place I thought about a loose contact from the battery. The strange thing though is that in the Memory-mode (which I practically do never use) this problem doen't show up. Besides that the camcorder's firewire port isn't working either since this problem occured.
Do these two problems stick together? Maybe a software problem then? Somebody any idea what might be broken? It's just over 2,5 years old and lost it's prime support unfortunately. But this A1E is very very light used, only 120 operation and 70 drum-hours. Who knows how to get my professional baby-camcorder working again?
Thanks for your help.
