Hi all -
I recently sold my trusty HV20, and I have been trying to help out the buyer with a method for pulldown removal. I asked if anyone knew where I could get hv20pulldown.exe a couple days ago, but got no responses.
As a relatively new Avid Media Composer user, I had been toying with some old footage, and discovered that Media Composer seems to do pulldown removal quite well. If anyone is interested, I have created a Google Document describing the process here:
HV20 Pulldown removal in Avid Media C... - Google Docs (http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AcfH3uyMuN8CZGhuZ3pydjhfNzJnbXJwc2NmcA&hl=en)
I have learned quite a bit from this community, so I thought I would share this. If you find it useful, great! If it's confusing or broken, let me know, and I will try to fix it. This is my first pass at writing the document, so if anyone has any feedback, I would be more than happy to incorporate it.
Thanks,
Jay
