First off, I'm not an editor and I'll never claim to be. I work with cameras and lenses so excuse me if this is a real basic problem.
I have Premiere CS3 loaded onto my PC and just use it to put together clips for my reels. I'm having (what I consider) a strange audio problem with the Nanoflash MXF files. Once I have imported the 35Mb Long-GOP files into CS3 the audio falls on tracks 4/5 when I put the files on the timeline and I can't move them to tracks 1-3. It seems that tracks 1-3 on the timeline are stereo tracks while channels 4-5 are mono. These are the only files that seem to do this in Premiere.
Is it possible to have the audio tracks from these files on tracks 1-3?
FYI
Nanoflash firmware 1.1.154
Adobe Premiere CS3 3.2.0 (374)
