My mic, which is the Panasonic AG-MC200G, that I use on camera (HMC150) ends up in my shots when taking a wide shot. Does anyone know of a different mount which can be used or do you have other ideas for dealing with this problem, other than the obvious? I have another shotgun mic used boomed as well, so I intend to keep this one on camera if I can find a workable solution. Thanks for your help!

Would using a J-rod or Rode SM-5 help get it off the cam enough so its out of the frame?

Thanks Steve. I took a look at the item. I think it might be enough height to work. The other issue is the mic has a very short cord which is fixed at the mic end and can not be removed, not w/o modification anyway. I am going to look into this option.
