Edius 5.5 just released. Full realtime support for AVCHD native files with multitrack support depending on CPU. I get 4 track mix of NX5U , SR11 and XR500, in multicam mode on my Q9450, plays 1 track normal editing mode. People with i7's are saying they get up to 5 tracks realtime.
Not quite sure where to post but this group is the most interested at the moment in editing NX5U AVCHD.
