Can't show this of course, but wanted to drop a line that my T2i video on my iPad looks incredible.

I mean, it looks incredible to me. And I've not really been easily impressed with the video images, I've worked hard to try and get them the best that I can.

I've got a meeting at the end of the week with a client to talk about some video solutions and I'm going to show examples from my iPad. I think it's going to go very well.

Just wanted to give that feedback. It's a great device and my T2i footage looks wonderful on it.

Cool, how does it connect? HDMI?

No, I'm not running video directly to it but watching videos on it from the web and ones I've loaded on.

It would be sweet if someone wrote an app that would allow us to use it as a monitor though.

I'll get on that! I love that idea haha :)...

One thing, though.

Unless there is a cable hdmi-30pin, asked a friend whose been developing on the iPhone for awhile now that

you'll need a laptop to host a webservice to talk to the iPad using live proxy.

I guess the camera will have to be hooked onto the laptop and laptop talks to the iPad wireless.

It certainly is doable, I think :)

how does audio work on that thing? I'm assuming there is a headphone jack. Is that the only way to hear the audio?

Here’s One way to do it with an iPhone:
iPhone remote for Canon DSLR video | Paul Joy (http://www.pauljoy.com/workflow/iphone-remote-for-dslr-video/)

Unfortunately, the camera still needs to be tether to a laptop.

There's a tiny speaker. Not great by any means, but it's there.
