Hi
Wanted to make sure I didn't title this thread Remaster VS Compressor. :)
Have searched this forum for the answer to this but couldn't find it.
I have remaster for Neo and have been shooting with the Canon 7D.
I want to change all the footage to Cineform (and scale to 720p from 1080p) as well as re-time a few files from 60p to 24p.
What are the advantages of doing it in Remaster rather than Compressor?
(am changing the video codec to Cineform and putting it one notch down from best. It gives me roughly the same file sizes as ProRes 422.)
Thanks as always,
Ross
