Some on this forum say that the new HFS21 will have no Pre record, while even Canon UK state that it does have Pre record. So what am I going to beleive?

I would believe Canon!

It definitely has a pre-record buffer.

If you're reading on this site that it doesn't, please point out the exact link and I'll correct it.
