View Full Version : EX1R media error Docea Marius March 29th, 2010, 10:26 AM Today I did a test with the PMW-EX1R and MXR + Transcend 16GB SDHC,I shot S&Q about 5 minutes after which the error occurred ,,media needs restored "has anyone tried to shoot more than 5 minutes the S&Q ? Thanks Alister Chapman March 30th, 2010, 02:35 AM If your getting errors with your MxR cards would you really trust them enough to do a firmware update? If it goes wrong your camera could be toast. Beg, borrow, scrounge an SxS card to do the update, you'll only need it for 30 mins. Alister Chapman March 30th, 2010, 03:28 AM If your going to do a lot of S&Q you really should be using an SxS card. Why not just buy a single 8Gb SxS card off ebay and use that for S&Q. You can always copy the files in camera from the SxS card to an MxR/SD card to free up space on the SxS card. Thanks i filled up a whole 32gig card with S&Q (1280x24f OC to 60) with massive continual movement. using a LCK-E thing and a sandisk extreeme. piece of cake , but not so for 3 transcends and a patriot. |
