Canon EOS video control by iPhone on Vimeo

I'm not sure if anyone's posted something similar before but I've been playing around with controlling DSLR's using my iPhone and a remote desktop app today.

Quite fiddly, but it's possible to control recording, focus, and camera setting etc in situations where you can't go near the camera.

Cool video Paul. I've been using this in a similar way for recording music. I use my iPhone to start Logic Pro recording from within my vocal booth, it works excellently!

Using a VNC tool like the one you showed there means you have as many features at your fingertips as the computer would have!

Hey Paul, was wondering if there was a reason you did it this way instead of trying the onone camera remote?
