Hey guys - after sitting on the fence for months I finally bought into the Nanoflash. My background is in capturing HDMI to Cineform but using a laptop had it's disadvantages so Nanoflash won in the end.First light - the grading tool for cineform files makes the codec the best codec all round to edit in in my humble opinion but using the Nanoflash to acquire is just magic. I have heard there were compatibility issues a while back - how far are we in resolving the conversion of the Nanoflash mxfs to Cineform avis in HDlink? This is really crucial to my workflow.

Best wishes.

If you haven't already, I'd recommend asking about this in the CineForm forum. (As long as the site doesn't view it as a double post...).

I would think that CineForm would need to read the Nano files (Non-XDcam MPEG) vs. Convergent Design changing what they would 'write' as files to make this happen...

I am a CineForm fan/user as well as a Nano user and I haven't really tried a conversion on the PC recently. I'd love to know the answer myself...
