Is it ok to hit return,when recording same time to tape,with the current production firmware.I read before that it would create a small file as the TC was changing,but that a fix was on the way so as the nano would only record on ascending TC..

Presumably shooting free run or time of day.. on TC trigger the Nano would just record the whole time?

With the current production firmware, 1.1.154 for the nanoFlash, if you review the tape, then the nanoFlash will record it, if you are triggering on Incrementing Timecode.

In our Public Beta 1.5.31, we attempted to prevent this from happening.

In our second Public Beta, due out very soon, you will have an menu option for this.

If you are using Free Run, or 24 Hour Run timecode, then the timecode runs constantly, and we can not tell when the camera is recording or not. This requires the nanoFlash to be triggered another way.

First shoot with Nano went well... using Rec run to trigger Nano.. all files down loaded ok according to the editor.. who was very happy at how quick it was..!
