$0.99 for the item, $80 for shipping?

It goes 50cm?

Don't expect much. You might get better responses in the jib and dolly forum.

That Ebay item looks like a Glidetrack in a box including a Manfrotto quick-release plate. The 99c is the opening price in an auction. They are made in Australia which explains the international shipping rate of $88.

Although the head seems to have a sturdy mount, the entire thing looks a bit cheap & bulky to me. I got an IndiSlider that I'm fairly happy with (except for its flimsy mount).

it looks like this one, glidetrack and some other companies (one in germany but forget the name) use the same parts (from igus.com) so the quality should be similar (pretty good)..
