I'm looking to upgrade and was wondering if the Canon 7D would work for the type of video I shoot. I usually have my camera on standby for up to 7 hours and during that time I shoot about 1-2 hours of fast action video. The clips are usually never over a minute long but I'm doing video clips one after another, always following a fast moving subject. Good slow-motion is important , I would be using the 720p 60fps mode all the time. Would the 7d work for me? Thanks

It's not the best tool for chasing ambulances, if you catch my drift.

There is some jello if you're not careful thanks to the rolling shutter. The EX1/3 have the same problem also. 720p60 actually has less skew than 24p, but depending on what you are shooting, you can get some awesome stuff!

Short answer: if good slow motion is what you want, then no, the 7D is not the best tool.
