Hello all, I need some help with converting my nanoFlash QT files to MXF for AVID, but, the CD Convert program doesn't give me the option to choose my external HDD. I do have over 3TB of files and I can't do them by copying to my MPB and converting..... Maybe is very easy solution, but I couldn't find any info on site. This http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/convergent-design-nanoflash/312381-nano-qt-files.html is the only regarding that and it does not help. Thank you
Luben

Dear Luben,
Have you tried specifying your destination disk drive in the "Destination Folder", when using our File Converter?
I am not an expert on our File Converter, but Tommy is.
You may need to create a folder on your destination hard drive then select that drive and folder for your destination.
Are you using our latest File Converter, Version 1.4?
Have you read the "Read Me" PDF?
Here is a portion of the Read Me:
To use: choose up to 4 source folders / CF volumes which
contain XDCAM 4:2:2 or XDCAM EX Quicktime (MOV) files.
If the chosen folder/volume contains a }CLP{ folder, as is
the case with CF cards from the Flash XDR, the }CLP{ folder
will be used as the source folder.
Individual MOV files may also be selected as the source.
You then optionally can choose destination folders to place
your converted MXF files.
If no destination folder(s) are chosen, the converted MXF files will be placed in the
source folder.
There is more information in the Read Me.
Please note that our File Converter requires a Mac, and this program converts our Quicktime Files to MXF Files.
I hope this helps.

Hello Dan et all,
Yes, I have read the "Read Me" file and the version is 1.4
I would guess the problem is that I do not have an option to choose from my external HDD. All the options from the pull down menu is "USERS" and "THE LOCAL HDD" on my MBP. Nothing else!
Also, I do not have }CLP{ folder. I strictly have QT .MOV files on the External HDD.
Any ideas anyone?
Thank you
Luben

Hi Luben,
Navigate to your local HDD, and go to "VOLUMES".
You should find your external HDs over there.

Dear Luben,
Sorry, I do not have a Mac at my disposal this weekend, so I can not run a test.
I may be able to run a test tomorrow.
