Is there a way to stream live video from an HVR-hd1000? As far as I can tell, the firewire connection only functions in play/edit mode. I'm I missing something?

Jeff Pulera March 3rd, 2010, 10:19 AM The Firewire should put out a signal while in camera mode, even without a tape inserted. Products like TeleStream's Wirecast software are made specifically for live streaming using DV and HDV cameras as a LIVE source via 1394, I just used it yesterday in a demo.
