HMC40: Night Sky Timelapse on Vimeo
and on YouTube:
YouTube - HMC40: Timelapse, Night Sky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MgfnYQEPoc)
I was playing around with the HMC40 taking night shots in timelapse (1 frame per second) and after checking out the results I decided to put together a shot edited video.
The exposure was 1/2 a second with the gain set from +17dB to +30dB. Given the massive amount of grain at +30dB, I lowered the 1080/24p footage to 640x480 to reduce the amount of grain.
As you can see in several of the shots, the stars do appear in the image.
